The streets of Fort Collins will witness a series of closures from June 16 through June 27, as the city undertakes asphalt overlay work that will affect both Timberline Road and Laurel Street.
According to the City of Fort Collins, southbound Timberline Road will be off-limits between Vine Drive and Donella Court from June 16 to June 20. This will leave the northbound side as the only accessible route in this segment. Commuters who typically travel south on Timberline are being redirected to Lemay Avenue, or the I-25 Frontage Road via Vine Street, and onwards to Mulberry Street during the impacted period.
The city’s Street Maintenance Program continues its work with a shutdown of westbound Laurel Street between Stover and Remington Streets starting June 18 until June 20. Drivers intending to go west will need to take a detour to Myrtle Street for this duration, as the usual passage will be blocked for maintenance.
