Warning Period Is Over For Greeley Speeders

Over the weekend, Greeley police began issuing citations to drivers caught speeding by the department’s new mobile speed cameras. The Greeley Tribune reports the two mobile cameras are located in vans placed in high-risk areas. When police first rolled out the cameras, speeding drivers caught by the cameras were issued warnings for the first 30 days. That warning period is now over. Drivers speeding in non-school zones will face a $40 fine, while those in school or maintenance, construction or repair zones will face an $80 fine.
