The Boys from Oklahoma are headed out of the red dirt state next month. Cross Canadian Ragweed has no plans of slowing down after reuniting for the first time in 15 years in their birthplace, Stillwater, Oklahoma, for the critically acclaimed Boys From Oklahoma event. More than 185,000 fans gathered for the four-night sold-out event, showcasing some of Red Dirt music’s best talent, including Jason Boland and the Stragglers, The Great Divide, Stoney LaRue, the Turnpike Troubadours, and more.
But that was just the start of the reunion tour that Ragweed would embark on. Before the Boys From Oklahoma shows, they announced a Texas Encore edition of the show, and are expected to pack out Baylor’s McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas, on August 23rd. The Texas Encore will feature the Turnpike Troubadours again, but will also sprinkle in some Texas country legends like Wade Bowen, as well as rising stars Shane Smith & the Saints, and more…
