Fort Collins dentist sentenced for tax evasion, concealing more than $5 million in income

A Fort Collins dentist has been sentenced to federal prison after admitting to hiding millions of dollars from the IRS in an illegal tax shelter.

Ryan Ulibarri was indicted by a federal grand jury in August 2024 on six counts of tax evasion and pleaded guilty to those charges in federal court in late February, according to online court records. He pleaded guilty to all charges without a plea agreement.
