It really doesn’t seem that you’re going to find a shop that is nearly completely all about saxophones and saxophones only in Colorado aside from this one that’s now in Loveland. Sure, you’ll find places that deal with an assortment of instruments, and maybe a place that deals with all woodwinds, but “sax only,” is very rare.
The saxophone dates back to when it was patented by Adolfe Sax in Paris, in 1846. Sax was an instrument maker who wanted to create a instrument that had both the qualities of a woodwind instrument along with those of a brass instrument.

Sax Alley entered its “next 30+” years in 2024 when the the current owner/operators took over the business that had been in operation for 30 years in Windsor by Tim Glesmann. Tim built up a very well respected business in his time, it must have been hard to turn it over to others…
