I am pretty sure there isn’t a beer that one Northern Colorado brewery puts out that I don’t like. That’s saying something considering I am pretty picky when it comes to the types of brews I choose to spend my money on.
Normally, I tend to shy away from sour beers. There is nothing wrong with them, but my body doesn’t like them. That goes for most things sour in general. I have this weird thing that when I consume something sour, my jaw cramps up. Weird, right?
A Fan Favorite Beer Returns After Four Years
Well, I might just have to take one for the team because WeldWerks Brewing Company announced the release of a beer that hasn’t been seen since 2021. The Greeley brewery announced that on Friday, June 27, the return of the fan favorite, Passion Fruit Mango Cheesecake.
What’s Inside Passion Fruit Mango Cheesecake Ale?
The sour ale has an ABV of 4.6 percent and is brewed with passion fruit, mango puree, cream cheese, graham cracker, vanilla, and milk sugar. WelkdWerks Brewing Company says this beer is tart, tropical, and has a dessert-in-a-glass type of vibe to it.
To me, this beer sounds outstanding, even if my jaw doesn’t like the sour stuff. The Passion Fruit Mango Cheesecake sour sounds like it would be a perfect beer to have during those hot Northern Colorado evenings.
