Two Colorado men carried a sink for 13.1 miles in Loveland to raise money and awareness for local food insecurity

I can barely carry bags from my car to my house without breaking a sweat BUT these guys did an amazing thing to raise awareness for food insecurity. Love that we have residents that care enough to try new ways to reach out.

David Aske and Marco Scalise wanted to raise awareness about local food insecurity and raise funds for Loveland’s Community Kitchen.

As the two men carried the hefty kitchen fixture, people could contribute by making donations and dropping a spoon, fork, or knife into the sink—each utensil representing different donation levels…
