Man killed in afternoon shooting in Greeley: police

DENVER (KDVR) — A 37-year-old man is dead following an afternoon shooting in Greeley on Wednesday, according to police.

The Greeley Police Department reported that officers responded to a report of a shooting at a multifamily residence located at 817 26th Ave., which is north of Highway 34.

The police department said that officers arrived on scene at about 12:22 p.m. and found a male with obvious injuries. Officers provided medical attention until emergency medical personnel arrived and transported the victim to the North Colorado Medical Center.
