As time steadily marches forward, the enigma of Valerie Meeks’ death continues to loom large, unsolved and haunting. According to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, Meeks, who was last seen alive on June 30, 1991, was reported missing to the Aurora Police Department on July 19 of the same year. Her body was discovered 18 days later on July 17, just outside of Erie on Weld County Roads 4 and 5. Despite exposure on local news, her case remains in the shadows, unsolved.
