Celebrate art, crafts, music and food at one of northern Colorado’s favorite summer traditions. The 46th Greeley Arts Picnic will be Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27 at Lincoln Park in downtown Greeley. This family-friendly event transforms the park into a bustling outdoor arts festival. With more than 150 artisan booths visitors will find everything from handcrafted jewelry to pottery, and more. In addition to shopping, visitors enjoy live music and food from local vendors. Kids can explore interactive art activities at the Creation Station. The Kids Stage, a magic show, and other family entertainment ensure fun for all ages.
This month the Tointon Gallery will feature Weld County artists. The gallery is across the street from Lincoln Park in the Greeley Recreation Center. All are welcome to attend the celebratory reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on July 25 – just before the Arts Picnic Kickoff Concert. Enjoy refreshments, community and art, while also viewing pieces of artwork that received a City Purchase award, Best In Show, and People’s Choice award. The show runs from July 7-July 27. Admission to the gallery is free.
