One of the best pizza chains in Colorado got its start in Longmont; after a short time, they gained a lot of fans. More fans, means needing more locations.
Windsor Becomes Third Colorado Location for Urban Field Pizza
The started out in south Longmont in 2022 with Urban Field Pizza & Market bringing award-winning pizza to town. Just two years later, their seconds spot, in Downtown Loveland opened. One year after that, Downtown Windsor became Urban Field’s third spot.
Urban Field opened its Loveland location in late July of 2024, in a spot that formerly held a popular craft brewery: Crow Hop. It was exactly one year later that their Windsor spot opened.
I hadn’t heard of Urban Field until I found out that they’d be coming to Downtown Loveland. When they did open in Loveland, I was one of their first customers, and found that they were terrific. A great menu, a great vibe, and great people. I thought it was nice that they picked Loveland for location number two.
It was in early July of 2025, that I found out that Urban Field would be coming to Windsor to be a part of Peculier Ales. Peculier Ales had seen a couple of food vendors over the years, but pizza sounded like a perfect fit, to me.
By the near end of July 2025, Urban Field opened inside of Peculier Ales, and I was one of the very first customers (the second customer.) Urban Field’s pizza (and other menu items) are consistently tasty, no matter which location, and Peculier Ales is a great venue: plenty of room, great beers, a great outdoor patio…
