Changes may again be in store for Fort Collins’ oldest independent grocery store.
The Fort Collins Food Co-op is under contract to purchase Fresh Foods — formerly known as Beavers Market — at 1100 W. Mountain Ave., the co-op confirmed in a news release July 29.
The news comes three years after Beavers Market was sold to independent grocery store chain Fresh Foods and roughly four months after a sign was briefly posted in the store’s window indicating it was for sale.
