I have indoor cats. They are a bit older and have no problem staying inside. I also feel anxious about allowing them to go outside since I live in a more agricultural area of Northern Colorado. They would not be safe from coyotes or any other predator.
They can not even defend themselves against a spider. This is personal preference. I had no idea that in some Northern Colorado cities, it is actually illegal to have outdoor cats.
