DENVER (KDVR) — A home was destroyed and one person was killed in a fire that occurred in Larimer County on Tuesday.
Dispatch received reports of a fire near Highway 14 in Bellvue at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a press release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

Several agencies dispatched to the 8700 block of West Highway 14, including:
- The Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District
- Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies
- UCHealth EMS
- Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services
A voluntary evacuation was issued to 591 contacts at nearby houses, and deputies went door-to-door to alert residents to the danger of the fire. The evacuation was lifted around 3:50 a.m.
