Maintenance work on U.S. Highway 6 over Loveland Pass is closing the road from Aug. 11-14, meaning trucks carrying hazardous materials will be traveling through the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnels, causing intermittent delays.
Vehicles carrying hazardous materials will receive escorts through the tunnels at the top of the hour for westbound trucks and the bottom of the hour for eastbound trucks, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
