DENVER (KDVR) — The Loveland Police Department is asking for help tracking down a person who they say appears to have accidentally donated “truly special” and “incredibly valuable” items to the Loveland arc Thrift Store in January.
LPD did not specify what the mystery item was, but said it is “determined to reunite the rightful owner with their valuable property.” LPD noted the incident was not criminal.

LDP said the Loveland arc Thrift Store, located at 3131 N. Garfield Avenue, received “a couple” of small bags containing donated items that, upon inspection several weeks later, were determined to have “valuable items” hidden inside a box within one of the bags.
The employee who found the items notified store management, who in turn contacted LPD, the police said.
Store surveillance footage obtained by detectives captured the person they believe donated the bag, police said. The person is described as driving a dark, possibly maroon colored newer-model Hyundai Palisade, with what appears to be a black Colorado custom license plate…
