An unpermitted burn engulfed an outbuilding and burned a home on Monday on Lookout Road south of Longmont.
Mountain View Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire around 2 p.m. in the 11000 block of Lookout Road, east of U.S. 287 and south of U.S. 52. An unlicensed burn in an unused pool spread to an outbuilding covering the pool. The fire also began to spread to the exterior of the house on the property, according to a social media post from the fire department. No injuries were reported.
