New aircraft maintenance center trains students for future jobs
With an eye towards filling new aviation industry jobs, Aims Community College launched its new, state-of-the-art Aircraft Maintenance Training Center Aug. 19.
“We are launching our training center and Aircraft Maintenance Technician program at a critical juncture,” said Dr. Leah L. Bornstein, Aims Community College CEO and President. “Here in Colorado, with a booming aerospace sector, this facility aims to be a solution provider for one of aviation’s greatest workforce challenges.”
The Aircraft Maintenance Training Center, which is about 60,000 square feet, will be located at the Loveland and Windsor campuses. Aims will offer prospective students a tour of the Aircraft Maintenance facility later this fall…
