Greeley businesses rally for families after dairy farm deaths

GREELEY, Colo — A northern Colorado community is coming together to support the families of six people who died in an accident last week at Prospect Valley Dairy in Keenesburg.

Among the victims was 17-year-old Oscar Espinoza Leos, a high school student who was remembered by friends and family as someone with a passion for cutting hair.

Espinoza Leos and his father were among the six who died inside a confined space at the dairy farm. According to early reports from first responders and the coroner’s office, the victims were exposed to a highly toxic gas produced by decomposing manure.
