Loveland’s Planned Ghost Tours Won’t Be Happening

Colorado has many ghost towns, Loveland is not one, maybe that’s why the fun-sounding ghost tours that were going to happen, didn’t.

Fort Collins Ghost Tour Company Expanded Into Loveland

A ghost tour company that had been doing ghost tours of old Fort Collins for over a dozen years, brought those skills and talents to Loveland in the summer of 2025, but found no takers.

When you consider that Loveland was incorporated as a town back in 1881, when the west was wild, you have to believe that there are some ghosts hanging around, especially in Downtown. All the old buildings, while having new occupants/businesses inside, still hold the spirits of yesteryear.

I know for a fact that at one point in Downtown Loveland’s history, there was an underground tunnel that ran from beneath Fist National Bank at Cleveland and 4th Street to the train depot, to protect money transfers. Imagine the shenanigans that happened within that tunnel, alone.

The Reporter-Herald did a story on the Loveland Ghost Tours, in mid-July of 2025; I wanted to do my own story about the tours, but found that there weren’t any dates available, so I reached out to them. I spoke with the owner of Fort Collins Ghost Tours, Lori Juszak, who confirmed my suspicion that they were “out of business in Loveland.”

The funny thing was, after the two weeks of being hyped by the paper and a little advertising, it was the Fort Collins Tours that actually saw a $2,000/week spike. Loveland just didn’t get off the ground…
