Larimer County has extended fire restrictions that are in place in unincorporated areas that are over 6,000 feet in elevation through September.
First enacted on Aug. 7, the restrictions were set to expire on Tuesday, and at the recommendation of Sheriff John Feyen, the county commissioners chose to extend them through Sept. 30.
