LUBBOCK, Texas – The ThunderWolves wrapped up their weekend at the Lubbock Christian University Chap Invitational with a 3-1 record, closing out tournament play with a hard-fought 3–1 loss to the host Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals on Saturday afternoon at the Rip Griffin Center in Lubbock, Texas
Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals took the match by set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 27-25, and 25-19. After dropping the opening frame, the Pack responded in the second behind a balanced attack, hitting .250 in the set and evening the match at one apiece. The third set proved pivotal as CSU Pueblo pushed the Chaps to extra points before falling 27-25. LCU then closed out the match in the fourth.
