A deceased man believed to be a missing kayaker was found in Carter Lake on Sept. 12, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office announced. The Coloradoan reports the body was recovered from the reservoir near Berthoud late that afternoon after a search that began just after 5 p.m. Sept. 11. The man’s name and cause and manner of death will be released by Larimer County Coroner’s Office.
