How Long Was Ted’s Sweetwater Grill in Windsor Open?
It was a big day in May of 2020 when Ted’s Sweetwater Grill officially opened to the public at the RainDance community. With RainDance being fairly isolated, having a restaurant as part of the community was well appreciated. It also made for a great “destination dining” spot for the Northern Colorado area.
Ted’s Sweetwater Grill & Taphouse had seen at least one makeover in its five-year span, including adding that neat little taphouse in 2023, featuring a John Deer tractor. Even in early September of 2025, they were excited about unveiling a new menu; things seemed to be on track for the restaurant.
On September 8, 2025, Ted’s Sweetwater Grill announced that they’d stopped restaurant service (along with the taphouse) until further notice. The space would remain available for events, but nothing more.
