Suspect Arrested in Connection to July Circle K Robbery in Lyons

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) announced yesterday that a suspect, 21-year-old Jaden Lee Robinson, has been arrested and charged in connection to the armed robbery that occurred on July 18 at the Circle K convenience store in Lyons. Robinson turned himself in at the Boulder County Jail with the assistance of an attorney.

The robbery occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on July 18. The suspect was armed with a black “1911 style” handgun and stole cash from the register. He fled on foot before law enforcement arrived. The BCSO said that they, along with officers from the Longmont Police Department and the Erie Police Department, responded to the scene and conducted a search with K-9s and drones, but did not locate the subject at that time. No one was injured during the robbery.

The BCSO said that investigators identified Robinson as a suspect after “coordinating with another law enforcement agency regarding a related incident in their jurisdiction.” Multiple search warrants were executed that linked Robinson to the robbery.
