The BIPOC Alliance, in partnership with Fuerza Latina and FCCAN, is honored to host the fifth annual Día de Muertos Community Celebration from 12-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, in Old Town Square. This free, community-run event invites all of Fort Collins to gather in remembrance of loved ones who have passed and celebrate the vibrant cultural traditions of Día de Muertos.
Event highlights
- Community Altar (12 p.m. start): The growing community altar is a cherished space for honoring ancestors and loved ones. Everyone is welcome to participate by placing a remembrance in person or by submitting photos for the virtual altar. Photo submissions can be made online.
- Family-friendly activities: Youth and families can enjoy free face painting and other activities throughout the day.
- Live performances: Experience an afternoon of live music and performances that celebrate the beauty and resilience of our community.
- Refreshments: Delicious refreshments will be available, adding to the warmth and hospitality of the day.
