Animal Friends Alliance’s Run Fur Fun 2025, a 5K “run, walk & wag” event, takes place Saturday, Oct. 18, at Odell Brewing Co, located at 800 E. Lincoln Ave. in Fort Collins. The race begins at 10 a.m., and the event goes through noon. This year’s event promises fun for all ages—even your well-behaved, leashed canine companions are welcome to join in.
Participants can choose among a Timed 5K, Fun Run (non-timed) or Kids Fun Run. Registration includes a race T-shirt (while supplies last), race bag, sticker, a complimentary pancake from Snooze and a beer from Odell Brewing for participants 21 and older. The scenic course follows a down-and-back route along the Poudre Trail, starting just west of Odell’s entrance and offering beautiful views of the Cache la Poudre River. Water stations will be available at the turnaround and finish.
In addition to the race, attendees can enjoy live music from the Sugar Britches, a costume contest with multiple categories and balloon animals from the NOCO Clown Club. Awards and costume contest winners will be announced before noon…
