Serious Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 66 Sends Local Residents to Hospital

On the morning of October 21, 2025, Mead Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 66, east of County Road 13. The crash happened at about 8:53 a.m. at mile marker 44, when a van rear-ended a two-door convertible that had slowed or stopped in traffic.

The van was traveling at over 60 mph at the time of the crash. Both people in the convertible were seriously injured and taken to local hospitals. They remain in serious condition. The investigation continues, and authorities ask anyone with information to contact the Mead Police Department…
