Police Free Bear Who ‘Wasn’t Thrilled’ To Be Trapped Inside Colorado Resident’s Car

Police officers were forced to undo, as they called it, a ‘bear-icade’ situation in the northern Colorado foothills last week. The situation was caused by a big ole bruin that managed to break into a resident’s car and got stuck.

Officers from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) responded to the scene after receiving a call from a home reporting a “vehicle trespass.” That trespasser, unfortunately for the deputies, turned out to be a big bear.

“The caller reported that a bear had broken into his car… and the furry bandit was still trapped in there,” the LCSO wrote in a Facebook post. “The first arriving deputy confirmed the claws for concern: a bear was, indeed, inside the vehicle (and he wasn’t thrilled about the situation either)…
