Two turkeys avoid dinner table, Gov. Polis pardons Colorado-raised birds

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -Two turkeys avoided the Thanksgiving dinner table after receiving a pardon from Colorado Governor Jared Polis on Monday.

Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid, from Jodar Farms in Fort Collins, are the two lucky birds. They’re now headed to the Luvin Arms Sanctuary, where they’ll live a full life away from any ovens.
