DENVER (KDVR) — Greeley’s city manager submitted his resignation to city council on Monday during a special meeting and will leave the position effective Dec. 2.
Raymond C. Lee III began as Greeley’s city manager in January 2022 and is leaving to “explore new opportunities,” according to a city release. Council members voted unanimously on Monday night to appoint Brian McBroom as acting city manager.

At the same time, Mayor John Gates will be leaving office after voters elected Dale Hall mayor for a two-year term. Hall will be sworn in on Nov. 18 alongside four city council members.
