Greeley, CO – The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is renewing public attention this week to a decades-old cold case involving a woman whose body was found in a rural irrigation ditch in 1992. Deputies say the case remains unsolved 32 years later, and investigators are again asking for tips from the community.
According to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, the woman—24 years old at the time—was discovered by hunters on November 14, 1992, in a concrete irrigation ditch near Weld County roads 20 and 51, roughly four miles northeast of Hudson. Investigators reported she had been using several aliases in the Denver area.
