Many people in Colorado have a love for Mexican restaurants. The way that they all have their own character and flavors, makes experiencing all of them a treat. To hear of one that has been in Fort Collins for so long, closing down, is hard to take. Maybe there’s a chance that somebody will take over the restaurant?
El Burrito, on Linden, just north of Willow in Fort Collins, has been around since 1960; hundreds of thousands of people have popped in for food and drinks over their 60 year reign. I remember my first visit, back in the ’80s; a friend knew about them and how they had great deals on food. That holds true to this day; great food at great prices and tasty margaritas. It’s hard to believe that they won’t be there anymore after 2025.
