Moving cars shot at with BB or pellet gun in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Fort Collins police are investigating a string of vandalism cases after eight drivers reported their vehicles were struck by what appears to be BB or pellet guns along a stretch of Shields Street.

The incidents happened between Mountain Avenue and Mulberry Avenue and have occurred periodically from July through last week, most often during weekend morning hours, according to police.

Several of the drivers targeted said they initially thought they had been hit by rocks or road debris until they discovered damage to their vehicles…
