On November 21, 2025, Mead Police responded to a theft at Tractor Supply. The suspects left before officers arrived. Employees gave police cell phone video and license plate information for four suspects in two vehicles. Police shared this information with nearby agencies. Regional Flock camera technology tracked the vehicles to Longmont and Lafayette. Both vehicles were recovered. One had been reported stolen from Dacono. Both are now impounded in Mead.
Police arrested one person on unrelated warrants. Two more suspects have been identified. Stolen property was recovered and is being returned to the victims. The investigation is ongoing.
