Colorado town changes wording of social media policy after First Amendment questions

KERSEY, Colo. — The small Weld County town of Kersey has been in the news the last few weeks a lot more than it traditionally has been.

The launch of a photo radar system that initially issued tickets that weren’t in line with the town’s own law, then the surprise decision to amend that law without an item on the agenda at a special meeting last week have fired some people up.
