Weld County has appointed Caleb Sulzen, CBO, MCP, as its new Chief Building Official. Sulzen has more than 20 years of experience in building safety, code enforcement, and inspection services. He holds credentials from the International Code Council. His previous positions include Residential Inspection Supervisor in Fairfax County, Virginia, and building official roles in Colorado’s public and private sectors.
David Eisenbraun, Weld County Planning Director, noted Sulzen’s experience and qualifications. As Chief Building Official, Sulzen will manage building inspection and permitting operations.
