LOVELAND, Colo. — The City of Loveland is adding 20 overnight shelter spaces using four FEMA-grade tents behind the Loveland Resource Center (LRC), doubling capacity to 42 spaces as it works toward a permanent solution for housing the homeless.
The tents are expected to be ready by end of day Friday, according to a city update released Tuesday. Work began Tuesday on the grounds behind the center on Lincoln Avenue, with a single-lane closure in effect to allow installation vehicles access to the site.
