The Weld County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) announced this week that it is requesting the public’s help in locating several cattle that have been reported missing and are presumed stolen from multiple herds northeast of Greeley. The department said that 14 Black Angus cows total are missing from three separate herds.
According to WCSO, the cattle are believed to have been stolen in the beginning of October, but the exact timeframe is not specifically known. Three separate herds were affected, each with “different last-seen-together dates and different grazing locations.”
