Update On Transient Man’s Hammer Attack On Loveland Tanning Salon Worker

Update on a story we told you about earlier. A 20-year-old transient man accused of attacking a tanning salon employee and a customer last Tuesday in Loveland struck the employee more than 15 times on the top of her head with a hammer, according to an arrest affidavit. The Greeley Tribune reports the 21-year-old employee was immediately attacked with a hammer on the top of her head and on her left arm when Kyle Behrens entered Endless Summer Tanning Salon, at 1518 N. Madison Ave., at 6:42 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9. The employee told officers she tried to flee but the assault continued in to the hallway and several open individual tanning rooms.
