If you are on the Front Range of Colorado, chances are that you might have been affected by Wednesday’s severe wind and had your power shut off by Xcel Energy or you know someone who has their power shut off.
I was one of the many who were affected by the Public Safety Power Shutoff in Windsor. Right around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the power went out at the Townsquare Media Studios, and I am sitting here in the dark.
Needless to say, it is kind of difficult to do any work that requires electricity when you don’t have it. While the Public Safety Power Shutoff may help mitigate the risk of wildfires on the Front Range and Foothills of Colorado, it can be kind of frustrating when you need the lights on.
