Fort Collins City Offices to Close for Christmas and New Year’s Day, Essential Services to Continue

The City of Fort Collins has announced the closure of all City offices during the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Days, ensuring that while administrative functions take a brief pause, the essential services that residents depend on, such as fire, police, and utilities, will operate without interruption. Details released on the City’s official website confirm that the city will observe the holidays on Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1, with the assurance that public safety and utility services will remain fully functional for the community.

As families prepare to celebrate, city-run transportation and parking services are adjusting their schedules; Transfort services will operate on a holiday schedule on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, but will not be available outside those hours – the Transfort and parking offices will close their doors on December 25 and January 1, according to the City of Fort Collins.
