DENVER (KDVR) — Xcel Energy will shut off power in several areas again on Friday, and some could be without power through the weekend.
The company shut off power in several areas Wednesday due to dry, windy conditions and fire risk, and the company said it plans to do the same for similar conditions on Friday.
The outage is scheduled to take place at 5 a.m. and is expected to impact 69,000 customers in Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties, according to a Thursday evening press release from Xcel Energy…
