The National Auto Body Council (NABC), along with Allstate and Yoder Collision Network, recently donated a refurbished vehicle to a Fort Collins, Colo., single parent of two so she can pursue educational goals and care for family. The donation was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides program.
The presentation took place at the Allstate office in Timnath, Colo. The recipient was nominated by Joy & Justice, which was founded in 2023 with the sole purpose of bringing joy to families facing the challenges of domestic violence while advocating for transformation within the justice system.
The anonymous Fort Collins resident received a 2020 Toyota RAV4, donated by Allstate and refurbished by technicians at Yoder Collision Network. She is currently pursuing her certified nursing assistant certification and is considering furthering her education. Without a dependable car, her ability to attend school, get to work, care for her children and maintain her forward momentum was severely limited. Public transportation options were not sufficient for the demands of her schedule and family life.
