Police investigate string of gun store break-ins in northern Colorado

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (KDVR) — Police are investigating a series of break-ins at gun stores across northern Colorado, including burglaries in Fort Collins and Longmont over the past few weeks.

Authorities are looking into at least four incidents, though it remains unclear whether the cases are connected.

Suspect identified in at-home killing of Frisco woman

Security video from Warrior’s Revolution in Longmont shows a car backing into the front door of the store on Dec. 15, shattering the glass and allowing four people to run inside.

“They came in, seemed to be pretty disorganized. They stole four sodas, a plate carrier. They stole our lollipops,” said Mike Morris, owner of Warrior’s Revolution.

Morris said the store’s firearms were locked away so the thieves couldn’t get to them, but the break-in caused significant damage and inspired additional security measures…
