DENVER (KDVR) — Six armed suspects were taken into custody early Saturday after a driver allegedly fled an attempted traffic stop in Fort Collins.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said deputies, at approximately 3:30 a.m., attempted to stop a driver who was suspected of being impaired. The driver, however, allegedly failed to stop and began eluding deputies, driving recklessly eastbound into Weld County.
During the pursuit, a single shot was fired at and struck the vehicle of a pursuing deputy, before the driver eventually stopped the vehicle on Highway 392, west of Interstate 25, at which point all occupants of the vehicle fled, according to the LCSO…
