It’s a shame when any restaurant in Colorado make the decision to close its doors, but it does hurt more when you find out that a Greeley spot that has been around since 2001, has to “hang it up” after pleasing so many patrons. Generations of Greeleyites made great memories there, as well as enjoyed great meals.
In this particular case, the initial owners of the restaurant turned it over in early 2025 to an experienced chef and his family; but, by the end of that year, it seemed clear that things we’re going to end well for Cazadores Mexican Grill & Cantina. If you look up the English translation for Cazadore you’ll find “The Hunter,” it’s ironic that folks will now be hunting for their new favorite Mexican spot.
