The man arrested for stabbing two people in North Longmont on Wednesday reportedly stabbed his 71-year-old grandfather and his mother, and strangled his grandmother, two days after being arrested for assaulting his grandparents, an arrest affidavit states.
Adrian Navarrete, 23, was arrested at gunpoint at a home in the 2200 block of Dexter Drive around 8 a.m. Wednesday, when police found the man’s grandfather, 71, lying in a pool of blood and apparently unconscious during a search of the house, according to the affidavit. Two days earlier, Navarrete was arrested and accused of pushing his grandparents to the floor.
