How Many Colorado Towns Have to Deal with a Broken Town Clock?

With all the cities and towns that Colorado has, you’d have to believe that Berthoud and Loveland aren’t the only ones having to deal with the embarrassment of having big clocks for all to see, that don’t work. Having a town clock dates back hundreds of years, they have a way of symbolizing community; when your town’s clock doesn’t work, it kind of makes it feel there’s something amiss in town.

A lot of old “town clocks,” like the one in Loveland that resides on 4th Street in Downtown, are just so old that there aren’t parts or people with the “know-how” to repair them.
