Edison’s Ice Cream, the vintage-inspired ice cream shop known for its premium, handcrafted flavors and nostalgic charm, is excited to announce its second Northern Colorado location, coming to downtown Greeley in spring 2026.
The new shop will open in the historic Salzman building at 911 8th Ave., a beloved downtown landmark that housed Salzman Shoes for 82 years before closing in 2017. Edison’s is currently working closely with the Greeley Historic Preservation Commission to thoughtfully renovate the space, ensuring the updated design honors the building’s legacy while bringing new life to this iconic address.
“Continuing Edison’s growth in another historic building feels incredibly meaningful,” says founder Nate Frary. “Just like our Fort Collins location, the Salzman building has a rich past and a special place in the community. We’re thrilled to help carry that history forward and create a space where people can make sweet new memories.”…
